Theresa 鈥淧aulette鈥� Gilbert, a distinguished educator and community advocate, recently received two community service awards - the Greater Rockford Chamber鈥檚 Women in Business Community Hero Award and the Rockford NAACP鈥檚 Community Service Award along with her husband Eldridge 鈥淪kip鈥� Gilbert.

Living up to the motto, Rock Valley College Home of Champions, the RVC Communications and Marketing team organized, presented, and won big at the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District 3 Conference in Cleveland, Ohio, September 25-27, 2024.

Thompson Named Communicator of the Year
