NPQ Leading Behaviour and Culture

The NPQ Leading Behaviour and Culture programme is aimed at teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading behaviour and/or supporting pupil wellbeing in their school.

It will equip you with the knowledge and skills to make evidence informed decisions about the school and classroom culture you need to establish to support teachers and students.

In-person sessions will be held at the °Ä²Ê¿ª½±Íø Training Hub at Pyramus House, Grange Park, Northampton, with other coaching sessions taking place online. Dates to follow.

Course content

The course is comprised of three modules over 12 months. Each module lasts 12 weeks.

  • Module 1: School culture
  • Module 2: Enabling conditions for good behaviour
  • Module 3: Managing complex behavioural needs

Module 1 - School culture

  • Induction (online) - 9th October 2024, 1.30pm-2.30pm
  • In-person - 19th November, 9.30am-2.30pm
  • Webinar - 10th December, 1.30pm-3pm
  • Webinar - 10th January 2025, 1.30pm-3pm

Module 2 - Enabling conditions for good behaviour

  • In-person - 7th March, 9.30am-2.30pm
  • Webinar - 25th March, 1.30pm-3pm
  • Webinar - 25th April, 1.30pm-3pm

Module 3 - Managing complex behavioural needs

  • In-person - 17th June, 9.30am-2.30pm
  • Webinar - 8th July, 1.30pm-3pm
  • Webinar - 5th September, 1.30pm-3pm
